In this instance we are talking dominant overall wedding theme that will be obvious to all that attend. Couples often choose to get married at there favorite time of year and therefore your theme might be based around a season.

Likewise Christmas weddings are also very popular. These are great if your family is spread around the world, as you can tie your wedding in with everyone coming home for the vacation.
