In my experience when brides come to me to discuss their flower wedding decorations it really helps if I can see images of flowers, bouquet shapes or centerpieces that they like. This then gives me an idea of their taste, style and personality even if they don’t want exactly what’s in the photos/pictures.
It’s also easier for you to reference everything in one place. If you try to go back through a magazine when you’re talking to someone you’ll never be able to find the image you want.
Only just this week I was having a consultation with a bride to discuss her wedding flowers and she showed me her cuttings book. As she identified photos from my portfolio that she liked, I explained the similarity between my designs and the images she’d collected in her book. She was amazed.
